Inertia: its internal types

Interfaces

Bounce

A bounce under way: Motion's spring from where and how fast the glide crossed an edge, toward the edge, its constants worked out once at the crossing. velocity is Motion's s.velocity, minus the speed it started with.

Properties

a
readonly a: number;

Each regime's constants: under, A, sinC, cosC; critical, C; over, P', sinhC, coshC.

b
readonly b: number;
c
readonly c: number;
decay
readonly decay: number;

The decay rate, ratio × omega.

delta
readonly delta: number;
edge
readonly edge: number;
freq
readonly freq: number;

The damped angular frequency (under and over).

kind
readonly kind: "under" | "critical" | "over";
startedAt
readonly startedAt: number;
velocity
readonly velocity: number;

BounceSpring

The bounce's spring, as Motion's with mass 1: its undamped angular frequency, damping ratio, and rest thresholds. Analytic, as Motion's: a wall as stiff as Motion's with no dragElastic (1e6 / 1e7) is exact, where a stepped integration isn't stable.

Properties

omega
readonly omega: number;
ratio
readonly ratio: number;
restDelta
readonly restDelta: number;
restSpeed
readonly restSpeed: number;
